1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Distilled (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, Distilled grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for lawful business purposes.

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, probe for vulnerabilities, or use the Service to violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

4. Output and intellectual property

As between you and Distilled, you own the output generated for your account. Distilled retains all rights in the Service, including software, models, prompts, and underlying methodologies.

Output may contain errors or omissions and is provided for informational purposes only. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it in production or compliance contexts.

5. Subscriptions and billing

If paid plans are enabled, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time, and access will continue through the end of the current billing period.

We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change constitutes acceptance of the updated price.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend the Service for maintenance or operational reasons with or without notice.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Distilled disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Distilled will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

In no event will Distilled's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the amounts paid by you to Distilled in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Distilled is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
